Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam better known as SJVN, is an Indian public sector undertaking involved in hydroelectric power generation and transmission. It was incorporated in 1988 as Nathpa Jhakri Power Corporation, a joint venture between Government of India and Government of Himachal Pradesh.

Sub: Regarding document verification for Selection for ITI/Graduate/Diploma Apprenticeship Training (2022-23).

With reference to your application for apprenticeship training, you have been shortlisted for document verification for confirming your candidature against eligibility criteria for consideration for engagement as Apprenticeship Trainees.

You are requested to send the copies of following documents (Self- Attested) for verification & confirming your eligibility as per eligibility criteria:

• The matriculation certificate and detailed mark sheet.
• provisional/ original ITI certificate clearly indicating the Trade in which ITI Course is done; the marks obtained (in aggregate) along with maximum marks, the percentage as given by institute, and the duration of course along with the years specified.
• All original testimonials/certificates (including Himachali/HP State Domicile certificate, Caste/Tribe/PWD Certificate in prescribed format. The OBC Certificate should be issued after 01.04.2021).
• The candidates belonging to Project Affected Families and Project Affected Areas (Panchayat) will have to produce the certificate duly issued by the Revenue Officer/Competent Authority to issue such certificates and verified by concerned SJVN Project Office.

Also, you will have to bring the following documents which are enclosed with this letter:

• Personal Resume duly completed with latest colored photograph affixed.
• Declaration that you have not already undergone one year apprenticeship training or done job for one year or more after completion of ITI Course.

SJVN Shall not be responsible for any postal delay in receipt of above documents in SJVN before prescribed date. Hence you are requested to send documents in time through registered/speed post.

You are being considered for the apprenticeship training provisionally subject to meeting the advertised eligibility criteria and verification of documents/facts. Please note that if the gap between the declaration of result and the commencement of training is more than three years, the candidate will be declared not eligible.

In your own interest, you are advised to ensure that you fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria as per the advertisement for the document verification.

Kindly note that this letter is only a provisional letter for document verification and does not constitute an offer of engagement/training.

Also please note that if selected, this training will be only for one year from the start of training. No extension in training or any employment will be given after completion of one year training by SJVN.
