Online applications are invited from eligible candidates who are Indian nationals for engagement/training as Act Apprentices under the apprentices Act 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 as amended from time to time, in Works and other establishments of South Eastern Railway. Applications must be submitted online and no other mode of submission of the same would be entertained.

Matriculation from a recognized board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and an ITI Pass certificate granted by the NCVT.
For the purpose of determination of merit for engagement against this notification, the marks obtained in the Matriculation only will be taken into account.

A Centralised Notification calling for online applications for engagement/training of Act Apprentices in various disciplines (a total of 1785 slots) was published vide Railway Recruitment Cell, South Eastern Railway’s Notification No.SER/P-HQ/ Pers/Act Apprentices/ 2021-22 dated 05.11.2021.
Based on the information furnished and preferences exercised by the applicants for training in various units, a Select List has been prepared, unit-wise and trade-wise, for the subsequent stage of Document Verification and is enclosed herewith. The schedule of the
Document Verification is also mentioned therein. Call Letters to the candidates have already been dispatched via E-mail, SMS on to candidates’ mobile numbers are also being sent. SER Kolkata Apprentice DV Merit list Call Letter 2022.
The candidates are advised to report for Document Verification on the given dates with all relevant documents/certificates in original as mentioned below.
- The printout of the filled in Application made online.
- Original certificate regarding your Date of Birth.
- Ofiginal certificate of Matriculation along with the statement of marks.
- Orfiginal valid certificate of having passed the ITI (in the trade in which Apprenticeship
training is to be done). - Original certificate in proper format as given in the Notification mentioning your
community: OBC/SC/ST. - Original certificate in proper format as given in the Notification in case you are a Person
With Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) conforming to the types as mentioned in the
Notification. - Original certificate in proof of being an Ex-Serviceman (ESM) in case you are an ESM.
- One set of self attested copies of all the above-mentioned documents/ certificates/
testimonials. - Three recent passport sized photographs as provided/uploaded in the online application.
- Medical Fitness Certificate signed by Government authorized Doctor (Gaz), not below
the rank of Asstt. Surgeon of Central/State Hospital as per the prescribed Medical
Proforma attached with the Call Letter. - COVID19- Self Declaration Form.
There would be no alternative date given for candidates not being present on the said dates.
lt may also be noted that the Call Letters are not to be construed to be offers of appointment in railway services and they are only meant for training as Apprentices in various . establishments of the railway. Candidates have been called for the Document Verification in 1.5 times of the vacancies. The candidature is purely provisional and subject to cancellation in the event of the information furnished vis-avis the documents produced not found in order, or | the candidates not being adjudged medically suitable for such training.
Candidates should report at the Railway Recruitment Cell, South Eastern Railway, 11, Garden Reach, Kolkata-700 043 office on the reporting date mentioned against their names at 10.00 AM. Candidates reporting late will not be entertained.
