SAIL Recruitment Vacancy 2025

Online applications are invited for enrollment to Apprenticeship Training for a period of one year at SAIL IISCO Steel Plant Burnpur, as Trade Apprentice in line with the Apprenticeship Act 1961.

SAIL Recruitment Qualification 2025

• Any Indian citizen who has completed his ITI course from a government recognized institute.
• ITI Pass in electrician, Fitter, Rigger, Turner, Machinist, Welder , Ref & AС, Mechanic-Motor Vehicle, Computer & ICTSM & Draughtman.

SAIL Recruitment General Instruction 2025

a) The candidates are advised to submit the online application well in advance without waiting for the last date of application.
b) The candidates are advised in their own interest to apply for only one trade that best fits with the candidate’s qualification viz -a-viz the advertised eligibility criteria.
c) The candidature of applicant would be provisional & subject to subsequent verification of certificates & testimonials. In case, it is detected at any stage of engagement or thereafter, that a candidate doesn’t fulfill the eligibility norms & or/that he has furnished any incorrect/false information/ certificate/ documents or has suppressed any document/fact, his / her candidature will stand cancelled.
d) This is only an opportunity for getting trained for improving employability of the candidates & there is no scope for employment in SAIL – ISP, Burnpur solely on the basis of apprenticeship training nor can an apprentice can claim the right of employment on the grounds of completion of apprenticeship.

SAIL Recruitment Eligibility for Enrollment 2025

a) Any Indian citizen who has completed his ITI course from a government recognized institute, in the specified Trade (full time regular course only) in the last three years (passed out in 2022 or after) may apply.
b) Candidates whose “contract ID” has already been created in line with the Apprenticeship Act 1961, during their apprenticeship training in any other organization are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
The candidate should be minimum of 18 years of age, as on 20.05.2025. For each of the trades, reservations of seats will be in reference to the state government guidelines for educational institutions as detailed below:

Candidates applying under the above-mentioned reserved categories must possess a valid/updated certificate complying with the existing guidelines, PWD candidates should be in a position to perform routine basic functioning independently.

Candidates are advised to carefully read the full advertisement for details of educational qualifications & other eligibility criteria before submission of online application.
a) Candidates, who are applying through NAPS portal, will be considered for the above mentioned vacancy.
b) Candidates are advised to register as a student online on NAPS portal.
c) Valid registration number created on National Apprenticeship Training scheme (NAPS) portal is compulsory to apply for the above positions. After registering oneself, one can login into the home page of NAPS portal as candidate then go to “Apprentice opportunity” and then click find establishment. Candidate should select SAIL-IISCO STEEL PLANT, Burnpur (E03171900012) to apply in passed out
trade of ITI against vacancies appearing on the portal.
