SAIL Durgapur Steel Plant Apprentice Instructions 2022

• You are being identified for registration as trade apprentice (ITI passed) under the DGT scheme in your trade (the trade you already undergone training in ITI/ITC). Your duration of training at SAIL-Durgapur Steel Plant will be 01 (one) year.
• You are required to submit the original medical fitness standard certified by a Registered Govt. Medical Practitioner (format enclosed) on the date of your reporting at Center for HRD (CHRD), Durgapur Steel Plant, Durgapur -713203, West Bengal.
• You are required to register yourself online as Trade Apprentice (ITI Passed) with SAIL Durgapur Steel Plantthrough the concerned Govt. portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in). You have to have angmail-mail ID for this purpose.
• During the aforementioned training period of 01 (one) year, you will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 7000/- (if you are in Welder and Plumber Trade i.e. 1 year duration course in respective trade in ITI) or Rs. 7700/- (if you are in Fitter, Electrician, Machinist and MMV Tradei.e. 1 year duration course in respective trade in ITI) payable as per The Apprentices Act, 1961 to your bank account directly. You must have a bank account (Adhaar Linked) in your name (single) for this purpose. You are not entitled to any other benefits, whatsoever, during the said period.
• From the joining date, you have to attend training regularly. No hostel facility is available; you have to make your own arrangement for stay and local transport here at Durgapur.
• At the end of the 01 (one) year of training, your contract with Durgapur Steel Plant will end and payment of stipend will cease irrespective
• Appearing at the AITT, applicable examination fees payable for appearing in the DGT Examination (AITT) and other relevant expenses will have to be borne by you.
• If without any written information you leave before completion of your training period of 01 (one) year, action will be initiated against youin accordance with the relevant rules as per the Apprentices Act ’61.
