According to letter No. E (MPP) 2006/6/10 issued by Railway Board dated 31.07.06, there is a provision of giving 3 percent reservation on seats in various trades by ackling all the following categories.
Children of deceased/disabled ex-servicemen, including those who died/disabled during peace time.

Ex-Serviceman According to the letter No. E (Μ.Ρ.Ρ.)/2005/6/11 issued by the Railway Board dated 15.05.06, there is a provision of giving 03 percent reservation for disabled persons on seats in various trades. It is rated as follows:-
Passed 10th class or equivalent with Science and Mathematics subjects under 10+2 education system with at least 50% aggregate marks.
ITI pass in Electrician trade
Mechanic (Diesel)
Passed 10th class or equivalent class with at least 50% aggregate marks under 10+2 education.
ITI-pass in Mechanic (Diesel) trade
Machinist
Passed 10th class or equivalent class with at least 50% aggregate marks with Science and Mathematics subjects under 10-2 education system.
