he Department of Posts is planning to engage around 60(Sixty) eligible and willing applicants as FIELD OFFICERS (PLI/RPLI) & DIRECT AGENTS (PLI/RPLI) in Meghalaya Postal Division for promoting Postal Life Insurance and Rural Postal Life Insurance business in the State of Meghalaya. Any candidate who has passed 10″ Standard or equivalent Exam from a Recognized Board of Central/State Government, and eligible for engagement by the Government. Any Unemployed/Self-employed youth, Ex life advisors/Ex Agents or any insurance company, Ex Servicemen, Anganwadi workers, Mahila Mandal Workers, Retired School Teachers, SHGs, Gram Pradhan, Members of Gram Panchayat with 10 Standard or equivalent qualification can attend the “Walk-in-interview” along-with the application form and required certificates

The selected candidates should clear the licentiate Examination as approved by the Department, within 3(Three) years of engagement: and the requisite exam fee shall be deposited by the candidate. License fee: A selected Field Officer/Direct: Agent will be required to deposit a fee of Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty) only for provisional license. The fee for permanent license is Rs.100/- which will be issued after qualifying Licentiate Exam. Fee for duplicate license & renewal license is Rs.50/- (Rupees Fifty) only. A Firmament License is valid for 05(Five) years; and failure to renew the license within its validity will result in the termination of engagement. TA/DA-No TA/DA shall be admissible to the Field Officer/Director Agent for procurement of PU/RPLI Business. No TA/DA will be paid for the walk-in-interview.
