Online Registration of Application: from 13.06.2025 to 30.06.2025 Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL), Malpe in Karnataka State is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL), i n v i t e s application from eligible Graduate holders in Engineering, Diploma holders in Engineering, who are passed during 2021,2022, 2023, 2024 & 2025 for undergoing one year Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act

UCSL Recruitment Qualification 2025

Graduate Apprentice :

• A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline.
• A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline.
• Graduate examination of Professional bodies recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.
• Some Universities/Institutes/Examination Boards do not award Class or Percentage of marks and allot Aggregate Grade Points (e.g. CGPA/OGPA/CPI, etc.). In case University/Institute/Examination Board defines criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into Class and/or percentage of marks, the same shall be accepted. However, where the University/ Institute/ Examination does not define criteria for conversion of Aggregate Grade Point into Class and/or percentage of marks, the Aggregate Grade Points shall be multiplied by 10 to get the required percentage of marks

Diploma Apprentices:

• A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
• A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a university in relevant discipline.
• A Diploma in Engineering and Technology granted by an Institution recognized by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to abo

The apprenticeship registration/application-submissions shall be through the portal: nats.education.gov.in. The method of applying for those who already registered in the old portal is provided in following :

a. Activate the account in https://nats.education.gov.in portal using
forgot the password option at student login page.
b. Login and complete the application form. Ensure all details are correct.

b. Search “UDUPI COCHIN SHIPYARD LIMITED” under “Apply against advertised vacancies”
c. Click Apply (You can see the status as “applied”

For students have no registration in old Apprentice portal

c. Click Student Register
d. Complete the application form
e. A unique Enrolment Number for each student will be generated.
