| Minimum Educational Qualification | All India Trade Test for Apprentices Pass (National Apprenticeship Certificate) from NCVT in Trades of Fitter/ Machinist/Electrician |
| Mandatory Experience | (i) Minimum three (3) years of work experience as on Feb 1, 2022 after passing All India Trade Test for Apprentices. (ii) Minimum two (2) years of work experience as on Feb 1, 2022 after passing All India Trade Test for Apprentices, only for candidates who have successfully completed Apprenticeship Training from Tata Steel –Bearings Division. For candidates who have passed ITI / ITC (possessing National Trade Certificate), and then passed All India Trade Test for Apprentices (National Apprenticeship Certificate) from NCVT, 3 years/ 2 years of experience (applicable as above) will be counted after passing ITI / ITC. It will NOT include one year apprenticeship training period which is mandatory for appearing in AITT for Apprentices. Must have working experience in Bearings Industry/ Precision Industry, or Automobile Industry (preferably those who work in auto component manufacturing facilities), or Auto ancillary Industry (those working in Car garages or Car showrooms are not eligible) |

| Age | a) Should have been born between 1st Feb 1990 & 1st Feb 2004 for General candidates b) Should have been born between 1st Feb 1987 & 1st Feb 2004 for SC/ ST Candidates |
| Emoluments | The selected candidates will be provisionally placed with a starting Basic Pay of Rs 8,000/- pm, on Fixed Term Employment Contract for a period of 2 (two) years, in the grade of FBG 4 and will be designated as Assistant I-(Service Area/ O &M). The other emoluments & benefits will be as per Company’s rule applicable to this grade. Candidate’s possessing 4 years or more of relevant experience will be compensated as per norms. |
| Selection Procedure | Online/Written Test followed by an Interview and Medical examination. Candidates who are found ineligible as per the laid down criteria, at any stage of the selection process will be immediately disqualified from further selection process. Note: All candidates, who qualify in the online/written test and are permanent employees of any of the Tata Group Company or Subsidiary or Associate Company of Tata Steel Ltd. will need to bring their NOC at the time of interview, without which they will not be interviewed |
