IMPORTANT NOTICE

Attention for the applicants of CEN:02/2024 Technician Gr.I Signal and various
categories of Technician Gr.III.

Access for uploading proper passport size photograph and signature.

• The photo/signature of a few applicants against CEN:02/2024 Technician Gr.I Signal and various categories of Technician Gr.III is not as per standard.
• To avoid rejections of applications now, these applicants are hereby given an opportunity to upload the fresh passport size photograph and signature as per standard specifications.
• The E-mail/SMS will be sent to all such candidates on registered E-mail ID/Mobile number.
• The candidates need to login the website (www.rrbapply.gov.in), with their user credentials through website of RRBs. After successful login a link will be available to upload photograph and signature.
• Link will be available from 03.06.2024 (00:00 Hrs) to 07.06.2024 (23:59 Hrs).
• It may be noted that if any applicant fails to upload proper photo and signature by 07.06.2024 (23:59 Hrs) will result in automatic rejection of his/her application and no further correspondence will be entertained on this account.
• Applicants are advised to refer only to the websites of RRBs for latest updates on recruitment process. Please do not mislead by unauthenticated sources.

RRB Technician Recruitment Specifications for Photograph

• It should be a Colour Passport Photograph with white background.
• It should be of size 35mm x 45mm or 320 x 240pixels.
• It should be in JPG/JPEG format.
• The size of the photograph should be between 30KB to 70KB.
• Photographs taken using mobile and selfie portraits may result in rejection of application.
• The photo should have a clear front view of the candidate without cap and dark glasses.
• Facial features should be clear and not to be covered by any item(such as mask, hair of head, cloth, shadow, jewellery etc.).
• The main features of the face must not be covered by hair of the head any cloth or any shadow. Forehead, eyes, nose and chin should be clearly visible.
• In case the candidate wears glasses, then the photograph should not have any glare/reflections on glasses and the eyes should be clearly visible.

RRB Technician Recruitment Specification for Signature Image

• The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black or Blue ink pen within a box of size 50mm x 20mm.
• The signature must be in running letters and not in block letters.
• The image should be in JPG/JPEG format.
• Dimensions of 50mm x 20mm or 140 x 60pixels (preferred).
• Size of the file should be between 30KB to 70KB.
• The signature must be of the applicant only and not of any other person.
