III with 9144 vacancies for open line (17 Categories) Cat. No. 2 to 18 all over the Indian Railways. ENHANCEMENT OF NOTIFIED VACANCIES FOR THE POST OF TECHNICIAN Gr. III

• Railway Recruitment Boards have published CEN No.02/2024 for the recruitment of Technician Gr. III with 9144 vacancies for open line (17 Categories) Cat. No. 2 to 18 all over the Indian Railways. With the additional demand received from Zonal Railways/Production Units, 22 new categories are included and vacancies also have been enhanced to 14298.
• The post parameters (i.e., educational qualification, medical standard & suitability of the posts for PwBD etc.) for newly added categories (No.19 to No. 40) are enclosed herewith as Annexure A-2 of CEN No.02/2024. For post parameters of old post categories (No. 2 to No. 18), Annexure – A of CEN 02/2024 may be referred.
• The community wise/category wise position of above revised vacancies of Technicians Gr. III for old & new posts of all RRBs (No. 2 to 40) are enclosed herewith as CEN No.02/2024- Revised Vacancy Table: “Annexure B-2”.
• The educational qualifications & medical standards and PwBD attributes being different for some new categories of posts added under CEN No.02/2024, an opportunity will be given to fresh eligible candidates to apply against CEN No.02/2024.
• The existing candidates will also be given an opportunity to change their option of RRB along with preference for Zonal Railway(s)/PUs as well as preference for all applicable Technician Gr. III category posts (No. 2 to 40).

RRB Technician III CEN No.02/2024 CORRIGENDUM & ADDENDUM No.-2

• The link for submission of online applications for the existing/new eligible candidates will be live from 00:01 hrs of 02-10-2024 to 23:59 hrs of 16-10-2024 for a period of 15 days on the official websites of all RRBs.
• Modification Window for corrections in application with payment of Rs. 250/- for each modification will be live for a period of 5 days from 17-10-2024 to 21-10-2024.
• A separate notice will be published about the modalities /procedures to get the existing application data / new application submission for both existing and new candidates.
• This Corrigendum & Addendum No.2 (including Annexures) supercedes the Corrigendum & Addendum No.1 (including Annexures) dated 22.08.2024.
• All other terms and conditions mentioned in CEN:02/2024 for Technician Grade-III stands good.
