RailTel Apprentice Recruitment Qualification 2025

Full time Regular Four Years Graduation in Engineering /Technology/Full Time Regular Three Years Diploma in Engineering/Technology (from Colleges approved by AICTE) with aggregate 60% marks instream/branch of Electronics & Telecommunication; or Telecommunication; or Computer Science & Engineering or Information Technology or Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering or any other combination of Engineering branches where Electronics is one of the main branches, like Electronics & Instrumentation OR Passed Sections A and B of Institution Examinations of the Institute of Engineering (India) in above-mentioned relevant branches of engineering OR Passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India) in above mentioned relevant branches of engineering.

Note :

• No Engineering Graduate or Diploma Holder who has undergone/possessing training or job / work experience for a period of one year or more after the attainment of any of these qualifications mentioned at Para No.1 shall be eligible for being engaged as an apprentice under the Act.
• Candidates who have obtained their qualification through the distance Learning time mode are NOT eligible to apply.
• Candidates who have already completed their apprenticeship or terminated their apprenticeship mid-way or pursuing their apprenticeship with other organizations are not eligible.

How to Apply RailTel Apprentice Recruitment 2025

To apply candidates are required to follow the process in the student manual of NATS Apprentice available at NATS 2.0 portal. The web link 10 access the manual is https://nats.education.gov.in/ assets/manual/establishment_user_manual.pdf

a) Candidates not registered with NATS 2.0 portal https://nats.education.gov.in should register themselves prior to applying for this position.
b) While filling application form, please upload the certificate showing your CGPA or percentage in the “Upload Certificate” column. If only CGPA is mentioned, kindly also upload the CGPA to percentage conversion formula/certificate along with the undertaking attached with the notification as Annexure 1, as a single PDF file of size less than 1 MB.
h) Merely Meeting eligibility criteria does not assure engagement.
c) On receipt of online application through portal https://nats.education.gov.in a merit list will be prepared on regional/state/location wise, and preference will be given to the Government Institution pass-ouls.
d) The Shortlisting of the candidates will be done based on Merit list prepared based on marks obtained in required qualification (minimum eligibility) and/or through Interview as required. Only those candidates who are medically fit according to Corporation’s norms will be considered. RCIL shall have no obligation to give regular employment to Apprentices. The Apprentices shall have no right to claim regular employment from RCIL based on this apprenticeship at any point of time. This apprenticeship shall not create any liability on RCIL for providing any job to the Apprentice. RCIL. management does not take any responsibility for any short of employment/placement.
e) Interested candidates are required to follow the guidelines given in the student manual of NATS available at NATS 2.0 portal. The web link to access the manual is https://nats.education.gov.in/assets/manual/establishment user manual.pdf. Only those candidates who have registered themselves and whose application has been received online through portal https://nats.education.gov.in by the last date will be considered.
f)During the period of apprenticeship, candidates will be governed by the Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended in 1973 and till date) and the policies/rules of the organization.
