- Age relaxation of 10 years (15 years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC (NCL) candidates) in upper age limit shall be allowed to Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) in case of direct recruitment to all civil posts/services under the Central Government identified suitable to be held by persons with such disabilities. Persons with Benchmark disabilities are those whose disability (ies) is/are 40% or above.

PRL Recruitment Pay and Allowancs 2025

- In addition, Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance [HRA] and Transport Allowance at the prescribed rates in force at the place of posting will be paid for those who are not availing Departmental Housing and Transport facility, respectively. The employees will be governed by the National Pension System (NPS). On employment in PRL, other facilities are available such as medical facilities for self and dependents, canteen, Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, etc., as per Central Government/PRL Rules.
PRL Recruitment Application Fee 2025
- There is a non-refundable Application Fee of ₹250/- (Rupees Two Hundred and Fifty only) for Technical Assistant (for Post Code – 1 to 5). Initially, all applicants have to uniformly pay ₹750/- as application-fee including candidates belonging to fee-exempted categories (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ExS). However, Candidates belonging to fee exemption category (Women/SC/ST/PwBD/ExS) will be refunded full application fee, if he/she attends the written test and UR/EWS/OBC candidates will be refunded ₹500/-, if he/she attends the written test. The Application fee will not be refunded to all those Candidates, who fails to attend the written test. Candidates require to furnish correct bank account details with IFSC code in order to get refund while filling online application. All fee-exempted categories except women require to upload relevant certificate (SC/ST/PwBD/ExS) to get refund.

How to apply PRL Recruitment 2025
- Applications will be received ON-LINE ONLY. The Candidates should register their application on-line at https://www.prl.res.in/OPAR. The link for receipt of online application will be active from 04.10.2025 (10.00 Hrs.) to 31.10.2025 (24.00 Hrs.)
- Upon registration and successful submission of application, applicant will be provided with an on-line Registration Number (downloadable filled-in application) through e-mail which should be carefully preserved for future reference
