• The Skill India Digital Hub (SIDH) platform, launched in September 2023, aims to revolutionize the skills, education, employment, and entrepreneurship landscape in India. The SIDH portal, which replaces the NCVT-MIS portal, serves as the primary platform for CTS trainees for admissions, examinations, and certifications starting from the 2023 session.
• The Directorate General has enabled the trainee verification process for around six months from January to the present date to allow trainees to complete their verification. However, it has been observed that approximately 50,000 trainees have registered on SIDH but have not completed trainee verification for the session 2023 due to various reasons.
• The examination schedule for CTS has been announced, with activities scheduled to commence on June 30, 2024. Trainees without PRN are not permitted to appear in the upcoming examination. To support the trainees’ future, the competent authority has decided to offer a final opportunity to complete trainee verification until July 15, 2024. Trainee verification must be completed by following the user manuals and videos provided by this Directorate General.
• All State/UT Directorates are urged to collaborate with ITIs to ensure the completion of pending trainee verifications for all trainees enrolled in government and private ITIs within your jurisdiction as per the schedule mentioned above.
• This issues with the approval of competent authority.
