About COPA Trade
Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) — One year ITI trade under CTS focused on computer skills, programming & employability.
During the one-year duration of the COPA trade, trainees gain hands-on skills in professional, technical, and employability areas. The training includes project work and practical assignments to build real-world confidence.
Students learn workplace safety, environmental awareness, and the use of fire extinguishers. They also identify computer peripherals, internal components, and perform OS-level tasks using DOS, Windows, and Linux. Software installation and configuration are also taught.
- Office Tools: MS Word, Excel (Advanced), PowerPoint, and MS Access database management.
- Networking: Set up and configure organizational networks; work with cloud-based systems.
- Programming: Create webpages using HTML, JavaScript, and develop programs in Python.
- E-Commerce: Learn online transactions, digital marketing, and communication methods.
- Cyber Security: Identify cybercrimes and secure data using cybersecurity concepts.
- Industrial Visits: Hands-on project experience and exposure to real work environments.
On successful completion, trainees earn the National Trade Certificate (NTC) awarded by DGT, recognized across India and abroad.
