About COPA Trade

Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) trade under the Craftsmen Training Scheme (CTS) is one of the most popular ITI courses offered across India through a wide network of Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs).

The COPA course duration is one year and it mainly consists of two parts — Domain Area and Core Area. The Domain Area (Trade Theory & Trade Practical) focuses on professional IT and programming skills, while the Core Area (Employability Skills) imparts essential communication, life, and workplace skills.

After successfully completing the training, trainees are awarded the National Trade Certificate (NTC) by the Directorate General of Training (DGT), which is recognized worldwide.
