HCSL Apprentice Selection Process 2024
- Only candidates who passed the prescribed qualification during the calendar year 2020, 2021,2022, 2023, 2024 and are domicile of West Bengal shall be considered. Short-listing of candidates for selection will be done based on the percentage of marks obtained in the basic prescribed qualification as applicable to the respective disciplines. In case, same percentage of marks is secured by more than one candidate in prescribed qualification, relative merit shall be decided based on seniority in passing year.
HCSL Apprentice 2024 Important Instructions
- The duration of Apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year as per Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act 1973. Those who have undergone apprenticeship training in any other organization for any duration under the (Amendment) Act 1973 are not eligible to apply.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship under Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973 in any Government or Public Sector or Private Organization are not eligible to apply.
- No travel expenses are admissible during apprenticeship training period.
- Boarding or lodging will not be provided by HCSL during the apprenticeship training period.
- Applicants are advised to make sure that they are meeting the eligibility requirements as per the notification before submitting the applications.
