- In continuation of this office Notification No. RRC/ER/Act Apprentice/2025-26 dated 31.07.2025, it is observed that due to an inadvertent error in the online application, the trade of Refrigeration and AC Mechanic, though one and the same, was reflected with two different nomenclatures. For Howrah, Sealdah and Malda Town the trade appeared as Ref. & AC Mech., whereas for Liluah it appeared as Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
- Owing to this discrepancy in description, applicants were not able to exercise their unit preferences uniformly. As a result, applicants applying under Ref. & AC Mech. could not opt for Liluah, and applicants applying under Refrigeration & Air Conditioning could not opt for Howrah, Sealdah and Malda Town.
- To remove this anomaly, it has been decided to provide one additional opportunity to all applicants of the said trade to modify their unit preferences. The applicants will now be able to exercise preference for all four units, namely Howrah, Sealdah, Malda Town and Liluah, in the order of their choice.
- The facility for modification of preferences shall remain available from 18.09.2025 to 23.09.2025 (both days inclusive). The list of eligible candidates is being annexed along with this notice. It is further brought to the notice of all concerned candidates that if no choice is exercised within the aforementioned window, the earlier preferences already submitted shall be treated as final and the same will be considered while drawing up the list for document verification.
- All other terms and conditions of the Notification dated 31.07.2025 shall remain unchanged.
- इस कार्यालय की अधिसूचना संख्या आरआरसी/ईआर/एक्ट अप्रेंटिस/2025-26 दिनांक 31.07.2025 के अनुक्रम में, यह देखा गया है कि ऑनलाइन आवेदन में एक अनजाने त्रुटि के कारण, रेफ्रिजरेशन और एसी मैकेनिक ट्रेड, एक ही होते हुए भी, दो अलग-अलग नामों से दर्शाए गए थे। हावड़ा, सियालदह और मालदा टाउन के लिए ट्रेड रेफ. और एसी मैकेनिक के रूप में दिखाई दिया, जबकि लिलुआ के लिए यह रेफ्रिजरेशन और एयर कंडीशनिंग के रूप में दिखाई दिया।
- विवरण में इस विसंगति के कारण, आवेदक अपनी इकाई वरीयताओं का समान रूप से उपयोग नहीं कर पा रहे थे। परिणामस्वरूप, रेफ. और एसी मैकेनिक के अंतर्गत आवेदन करने वाले आवेदक लिलुआ का विकल्प नहीं चुन सके, और रेफ्रिजरेशन और एयर कंडीशनिंग के अंतर्गत आवेदन करने वाले आवेदक हावड़ा, सियालदह और मालदा टाउन का विकल्प नहीं चुन सके।
- इस विसंगति को दूर करने के लिए, उक्त ट्रेड के सभी आवेदकों को अपनी इकाई वरीयताओं को संशोधित करने के लिए एक अतिरिक्त अवसर प्रदान करने का निर्णय लिया गया है। आवेदक अब अपनी पसंद के क्रम में सभी चार इकाइयों, अर्थात् हावड़ा, सियालदह, मालदा टाउन और लिलुआह, के लिए वरीयता का प्रयोग कर सकेंगे।
- वरीयताओं में संशोधन की सुविधा 18.09.2025 से 23.09.2025 तक (दोनों दिन सम्मिलित) उपलब्ध रहेगी। पात्र उम्मीदवारों की सूची इस सूचना के साथ संलग्न की जा रही है। सभी संबंधित उम्मीदवारों को यह भी सूचित किया जाता है कि यदि उपर्युक्त अवधि के भीतर कोई विकल्प नहीं चुना जाता है, तो पहले से प्रस्तुत की गई वरीयताओं को अंतिम माना जाएगा और दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन के लिए सूची तैयार करते समय उन पर विचार किया जाएगा।
- दिनांक 31.07.2025 की अधिसूचना के अन्य सभी नियम और शर्तें अपरिवर्तित रहेंगी।
