DRDO DMRL Recruitment 2024: Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) was established at Hyderabad in 1963 with a mission to develop advanced materials, innovative process technologies and related product engineering, supported by basic and applied research for modern Defence applications. The vision of DMRL is to be a center of excellence for providing total material solutions for Defence systems. DMRL proposes to engage ITI Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961(Amended 2015, 2019) purely for ONE YEAR apprenticeship Training in the following mentioned trades. Stipend will be provided as per the Apprenticeship rules. DRDO DMRL Apprentice Apply before 31 May 2024.

DRDO DMRL Recruitment Age Limit 2024
- Candidates’ upper age limit should be 55 years according to their posts as per the last date of receipt of the application form.
DRDO DMRL Recruitment Selection Process 2024
- The selection process for Apprentice posts in the DRDO-Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL) will be based on the performance of the candidates in the Matriculation/ ITI Examination.
- A merit list will be prepared according to the scores of the candidates in the qualifying examination for recruitment as Trade Apprentices.
DRDO DMRL Apprentice Important Notice 2024
- No TA/DA will be paid to the applicants if called at any stage of the selection process.
- The apprentices WILL NOT BE provided any hostel accommodation/quarter/transport by the establishment at any stage of the selection process, and also during the training period. Also, no allowances will be admissible except the consolidated stipend.
- Candidates selected for training will not be allowed to withdraw from training except for reasons which are beyond their control. Before commencement of the training, the candidates will have to execute a Contract of Apprenticeship.
- The training of the Apprentice will be terminated without intimation following un-authorized absence of the candidate in training for a period of more than 15 days.
- Completion of training does not entitle the candidates to any right for claiming temporary / permanent job in DMRL.
- No correspondence shall be entertained from the candidates not selected for training.
