DRDO DIBT Apprentice Recruitment Vacancy 2025

Under the provisions of The Apprentices Act, 1961, Centre Head, DEFENCE INSTITUTE OF BIODEFENCE TECHNOLOGIES (DIBT), Mysore invites applications from eligible candidates for Diploma and ITI Apprenticeship Training for the Year 2025-26 as per the details given below.

Important Instruction :

1. The engagement and training will be strictly in accordance with Apprentices Act, 1961, Apprenticeship Rules and its amendments from time to time and there is no obligation for employment of apprentices on completion of their training.
2. The tenure of the apprenticeship for the above categories / trades would be 12 months commencing from execution of the contract of Apprenticeship
3. Registration of (i) Diploma (Engineering) candidates on (http://nats.education.gov.in) and (ii) ITI candidates on portal (www.apprenticeshipindia.org or www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) is mandatory. Kindly see respective websites for registration. The registration No. is required to be mentioned while filling the application form.
4. The above registration No. is liable to be verified at the time of selection / Document verification.
5. For Diploma (Engineering – Apprentice Trainees) Candidates who have passed in the year 2023/2024/2025 (last three years) as regular candidates are only eligible to apply. Candidates who passed the qualifying exam earlier than the year 2023 are not eligible.
6. ITI apprentice : Candidates must have completed ITI from NCVT or SCVT Boards. Candidates who have passed in the year 2023/2024/2025 (last three years) as regular candidates are only eligible to apply. Candidates who passed the qualifying exam earlier than the year 2023 are not eligible.
7. OBC certificate whose validity has expired would not be accepted for granting concession
8. Candidates with higher qualification are not eligible to apply.
9. Application of those candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination, but whose results have not been declared /available as on the date of advertisement will NOT be considered for training. Provisional Degree Certificates of qualifying exam would however be acceptable during the time of joining, but final degree certificates shall have to be submitted as & when received for verification and acceptance.
10. Suppressions of facts will lead to disqualification, at any stage of the selection process or during the training period.
11. Selection of candidates from SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EWS category would be as per Apprenticeship Rules.
12. PWD candidates are eligible only for the designated trades as per Apprenticeship Rules.
13. Candidates who have already undergone Apprenticeship Training or at present undergoing Apprenticeship Training under any organization are NOT eligible to apply.
14. Candidates with more than one year work experience are NOT eligible to apply,
15. No TA/DA shall be given to the candidates for interviews / Document verification / joining DIBT as Apprentice Trainees.
16. The Apprentice Trainee will not be provided any quarters / hostel accommodation by this establishment at the time of interview and also during the training period.

How to Apply DRDO DIBT Apprentice Recruitment 2025

1. Applications are invited through website https://nats.education.gov.in (only for Diploma) and www.apprenticeshipindia.org (only for ITI Trades). Candidates may submit filled application by speed post to the following address as per format attached along with relevant documents, and same may be scanned and sent via head.hrd.dfrl@gov.in. –
   
2. The last date for the applications is one month from the date of publication of advertisement. Candidates are requested to fill up correct details against all the fields along with uploading of scanned copies of all the mandatory documents (as per list).
3. Candidates are required to bring a copy of application printout along with the originals documents at the time of joining at DIBT, Mysore.
