CSL Recruitment Age Limit 2025
CSL Operator Recruitment 2025 – Age Limit
- (a) The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall not exceed 45 years as on 21 November 2025, i.e., applicants should be born on or after 22 November 1980.
- (b) The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years for SC candidates in posts reserved for them.
- (c) The upper age limit for Ex-servicemen and Retired CAPF Personnel who meet the experience requirement shall be 60 years. The end of the contract for such candidates shall be 5 years from the start date of the contract or 60 years of age, whichever is earlier.

- (a) The method of selection shall be through a Practical Test (100 marks).
- (b) The minimum pass marks for the Practical Test shall be as follows:
- Unreserved & EWS Candidates: 50% of Total Marks
- OBC Candidates: 45% of Total Marks (only for vacancies reserved for OBC)
- SC Candidates: 40% of Total Marks (only for vacancies reserved for SC)
- (c) CSL may relax the minimum pass marks, if the number of qualified candidates is insufficient.

- Understand the process: The application has two phases — One Time Registration (OTR) in the SAP portal, and submission of application for the specific post(s).
- Read User Manual / FAQ: Open the Career page → CSL, Kochi on the website and review the User Manual & FAQ to know document formats, file size limits, and required fields.

One Time Registration (OTR):
- Go to Cochin Shipyard website → Career → CSL, Kochi.
- Complete the SAP One Time Registration form with accurate personal, educational and contact details.
- Upload scanned copies of required documents where requested (formats and sizes as per the User Manual).

Submit application for respective post(s):
- After OTR, select the relevant post and complete the post-specific application fields.
- Upload the prescribed signed Application Form (if required) and supporting documents in the proper places.
- Ensure you do not submit more than one application. Multiple submissions are not allowed; once submitted, the application is final.
- Online submission window: The online facility will be available from 05 November 2025 to 21 November 2025. Submit only via the online SAP portal — applications by any other mode will not be accepted.
- Final confirmation: After submitting, keep a copy / screenshot of the final application acknowledgement / reference number for your records.
Important: Only candidates meeting the notified requirements should apply. Applications submitted directly or by any mode other than the SAP Online portal will be rejected.
