National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Kanpur invites offline applications for the engagement of Guest Faculties to conduct Theory and Practical classes for CITS/CTS trainees for the session 2026-27. Engagement is purely temporary and renewed periodically every three months.
โ ๏ธ Applicants are advised to apply for only one post, since written and skill tests for all trades/subjects will be conducted at the same time.

๐ Eligibility (General Pattern)
โน๏ธ For most CITS trades: B.Voc/Degree in relevant engineering branch with CITS + 02 years post-CITS experience, OR 03-year Diploma with CITS + 05 years post-CITS experience, OR Ex-serviceman (15 years service, equivalency via DGR), OR NTC/NAC with CITS + 07 years post-CITS experience.
โน๏ธ For CTS trades (Solar Technician Electrical, RAC Technician): B.Voc/Degree + CITS + 01 year experience, OR 03-year Diploma + CITS + 02 years experience, OR NTC/NAC + CITS + 03 years experience.
โ ๏ธ Trade-specific qualification details vary โ the MMV trade requires a valid MCWG & LMV driving license, mandatory for all candidates. Please check the exact eligibility for your chosen trade in the full official notice PDF below before applying.
๐ Required Documents
Application in prescribed format (attached in notice)
Self-attested photocopies of all certificates and marksheets (10th, 10+2, Technical/Professional qualification)
Self-attested photocopy of experience certificates
2 additional colour passport-size photographs + 1 self-attested photo on the form
Envelope must clearly mention: “Application for Guest Faculty in …(CTS/CITS) trade/subject”

โน๏ธ Send the completed application with all enclosures by post or by hand to: The Deputy Director/Training Incharge, National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), P.O-Udyog Nagar, Kanpur-208022
โน๏ธ Application must reach the office on or before 03.08.2026 up to 5:30 PM (Monday to Friday only)
โ ๏ธ Call letter for the written & skill test will be sent only through e-mail to eligible candidates. Exam date will be published on the institute website and via e-mail.

โ ๏ธ Engagement of Guest Faculty is purely temporary and can be cancelled at any time without providing any reason by the engaging authority.
โ ๏ธ Number of vacancies may increase or decrease as per requirement. Regional Director, RDSDE-UP reserves the right to cancel or alter any recruitment without assigning any reason.
