BHEL Recruitment Qualification 2025

Qualification : Candidates who have passed high school and completed their ITI as a regular candidate from an NCVT-recognized institution in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 are eligible to apply. Candidates who have completed their ITI as a regular candidate from an NCVT-recognized institution in the trades of welder and electrician in the years 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025 can also apply .

Note :

1. Under the selection process, the above vacancies will be filled first by candidates from Uttarakhand state. The remaining vacancies will then be filled by candidates from other states.
2. The above mentioned number of vacancies are approximate and may change based on the final assessment.
3. Other terms and conditions of recruitment will be as per enclosed Form-A (Trade Apprenticeship Recruitment 2025 Detailed Terms and Conditions), dated 14.10.2025.

The training period will be one year as per the instructions given in the Apprenticeship Act 1961 and The Gazette of India, dated 02 March 2017.

• Candidates must be registered on the Apprenticeship Portal (https://apprenticeshipindia.org). After registering on the Apprenticeship Portal, go to ‘Apprenticeship Opportunities’ in your Apprenticeship Profile, fill in the required fields, search for ‘Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, Rudrapur’, and apply for the available seats in your trade.

Note: Candidates should also note that those who have already registered on the Apprenticeship Portal (https://apprenticeshipindia.org) do not need to register again. Also, ensure that the required documents have been uploaded as required by the registration process. Candidates must ensure that the Aadhaar number they entered when registering on the Apprenticeship Portal is correct, that their name, father’s name, and date of birth are completely correct (no spelling mistakes), and that the Aadhaar Verification field on the portal must state “Your Aadhaar is verified Successfully!!”. In case of any errors, correct the errors on your Aadhaar card or profile as soon as possible. Any errors in your Apprenticeship profile that impact your online joining will result in your application being disqualified. Candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribe and Scheduled Caste categories will be selected in the ratio of 1:3 and 1:6, respectively, of the total seats allocated for the state of Uttarakhand, as per the Apprentices Act. Reservations for Other Backward Classes, EWS, and physically disabled candidates will be provided as per the rules of the Uttarakhand State Government.

• OBC Certificate older than 14.10.2025 or the caste certificate whose validity has expired will not be valid for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates.

• For EWS category candidates, only the EWS certificate issued for the financial year 2025-26 will be valid. Dependents of employees (serving/retired/deceased) will be eligible for relaxation under the dependent quota as per BHEL rules. Candidates will be required to provide the required documents upon request.

BHEL Recruitment Selection Process 2025

• In the above process, the number of vacant posts (apprentices) of the unit will be uploaded on the apprenticeship.gov.in site.
• Candidates receiving applications by the application deadline will be notified by email. Candidates submitting correct and complete applications will be called for a written examination via email. The exam language will be Hindi/English, or both.
• If the number of applications from eligible candidates in any trade is less than or equal to the number of vacancies, then in this case all the eligible candidates will be called directly for appointment.
