INDIAN PORT RAIL & ROPEWAY CORPORATION LIMITED (IPRCL) is a first of its kind Joint Venture Company (JVC) between 11 Major Ports under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (Formerly Ministry of Shipping) holding 90% of equity capital and Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (IPRCL) under Ministry of Railways holding 10% of equity capital, incorporated with the objective to provide efficient rail cvacuation systems to Major Ports and for enhancing their capacity and throughput. The company was registered on 10th July 2015 as a Public Limited Company under the Companies Act, 2013. The Company is under the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways (Formerly Ministry of Shipping), Government of India.
Applications are invited from eligible candidates for undergoing one year of Graduate/ Diploma Engineering Apprenticeship Training on All India basis under Apprentices Act, 1961 (as amended from time-to-time) in the trade as mentioned below:

• At least 60% in aggregate of all years & semesters in Degree/Diploma in Engineering granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline. 55% in aggregate of all years & semesters in Degree/Diploma in Engineering for candidates belonging to SC/ST categories.
• Candidates having job experience of one year or more will not be eligible.

i. Applications not conforming to the prescribed format or incomplete in any respect or without self-attestation listed above shall be summarily rejected.
ii. The responsibility of establishing the eligibility for the Graduate Diploma Apprentice without any doubt shall be that of applicant by way of attaching requisite documents. The process of scrutiny of applications/documents does not involve contacting applicant or collection of additional documents from applicant at any stage.
iii. In case information furnished in the application format or the Certificates/testimonials are found to be false or incorrect, candidature of such applicants are liable to be cancelled at any stage of the selection or thereafter, besides such other penal action as deemed fit.
iv. Applicants should clearly note that IPRCL will in no case be responsible for non-receipt of their application or any postal delay in receipt thereof on any account whatsoever.
v. Management reserves the right to cancel restrict/ enlarge/ modify/ alter the selection/engagement process at any stage, without issuing any further notice or assigning any reason thcreafter.
vi. In case it is detected at any stage of engagement that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility norms and/or that he/she has furnished any incorrect/ false information certificate /documents or has suppressed any material fact(s), his/her candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is/are detected even after engagement, his/her Contract is liable to be terminated.
vii. IPRCI. has the right to increase or decrease the number of Apprentice advertised or cancel entirely or partially the advertisement/ Notification at any stage without assigning any reason and the decision of IPRCL shall be final in this regard.
viii. Any resulting dispute arising out of this advertisement shall be subject to the sole jurisdiction of the Courts situated at Mumbai only.
ix. Canvassing in any form will be a disqualification.
