Odisha Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL), a State owned Power Utility in Odisha is engaged in the business of Transmission of electricity with a vision to emerge as one of the leading power utilities in the country in Transmission space. OPTCL invites applications from young and meritorious aspirants for engagement of different disciplines Graduate (Engineering. and Non-Engineering.), Diploma and Trade (ITI) Apprentices for one year. Selection will be made on the basis of Academic merit / Written Test / interview as required.

Eligibility Conditions :

1. Indian Nationals belonging to the state of Odisha are only eligible to apply.
2. Age: Candidate should not be less than eighteen years of age as on 01.01.2025.
3. Educational Qualification: As per Table-A.
4. The prescribed qualification shall be from a recognized Board / Council / University / Institute as a regular full-time course.
5. Candidates shall have Minimum Physical Standard as prescribed in Clause 4 of the Apprenticeship Rules 1992 and amended thereof.
6. Candidates who have completed Apprenticeship training as per Apprentices Act 1961 or job experience for a period of one year or more shall not be eligible to apply.
7. The candidate who are appearing for requisite essential qualifying examination will not be eligible to apply.
8. The candidate should have the passing certificate / final year mark sheet of the required qualification as on 01.05.2025.
9. The gap between the date of joining in Apprenticeship Training and passing date of essential qualifying examination for Apprentices should not be more than 3 years and passed during Academic Year 2022-23, 2023-24 & 2024-25.

Period of Apprenticeship Training :

1. The period of apprenticeship training shall be one year i.e. 12 Months.
2. The training period shall commence from the online contract date of Apprenticeship Training and will continue for a duration of one year. Apprentices
   shall be entitled to a stipend from the start of the online contract date, subject to their satisfactory performance during the training period.
3. It shall not be obligatory in the part of OPTCL to offer employment to any apprentice who has completed his / her apprenticeship, nor can an apprentice claim right for employment on the ground of completion of Apprenticeship Training.

How to Apply OPTCL Apprentice Recruitment 2025

Interested candidates who fulfils the eligibility criteria may submit their application as
below:
a. Candidates should first register themselves (as a candidate) on NAPS / NATS
portal.

1. The Degree Electrical, Degree IT, Degree Telecomm and Diploma Electrical, Diploma Telecomm apprentice and Degree HR, Finance, Law, Lib
   Sc. aspirants need to register themselves at NATS 2.0 portal i.e. https://nats.education.gov.in/ .
2. The ITI Trade apprentices need to register themselves at NAPS portal i.e . https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in
3. The candidate must ensure that, his/her Aadhar is seeded with Bank Account for DBT.
