Minimum qualification : Full-time Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Telecom Engg. / Computer Science / Information Technology / Electrical Engg or any of the above combinations in part or whole / M.Sc. Electronics or equivalent.

b). Contractual Engineer/Civil- Full-time Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

Minimum experience : a) Contractual Engineer/ Signaling and Telecom- Candidates should have total post-qualification experience of minimum 02 years of working in Signal & Telecommunication construction projects dealing with installation/ testing and commissioning of SSI/EI/RRI/PI of indoor and
outdoor of Signal & Telecommunication gears for Indian Railways, Metros, Railway sidings/ PSU Railway Sidings/ Private sector Railway sidings.

b) Contractual Engineer/ Civil – Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience, in the field of project management/
supervision/ Execution of infrastructure Projects in the fields of Railways/ Metro/ Highway/ Bridges/ Ports/ Airports/ Building/ Industrial Sheds/ Tracks, etc.

Travelling Expenses : No travelling expenses will be paid to the candidates for appearing in the screening/interview.

Terms & Tenure of Engagement: Engagement is contractual, initially for one year from the date of joining, and may be extended based on project requirements and performance. It may be terminated earlier due to non-availability of work, unsatisfactory performance, or administrative reasons, at the discretion of the Competent Authority.

Resignation: A notice period of three months shall be mandatory prior to resignation from RailTel Corporation. Serving such notice will not absolve the executive from financial or other obligations under the service agreement. In case of shorter Notice, they shall be liable to pay an amount equivalent to 03 months gross salary.

Service Agreement: Selected candidates will be required to execute a service agreement at the time of appointment, committing to serve the organization for a period of one year. In case of failure to complete the said period, they shall be liable to pay an amount equivalent to three months’ gross salary. In addition to notice
period required in case of resignation.

Background Check: Selection/appointment shall be provisional, subject to verification of character, antecedents, caste certificate, and other submitted documents, as well as fulfilment of medical and other conditions applicable to appointments under the Central Government/PSUs.
