Cochin Shipyard Recruitment Qualification 2024

| Mooring & Scaffolding Assistant | Pass in SSLC | Essential: – Minimum of three years post qualification experience/training in general structural /mooring/ scaffolding / rigging works. Experience: – The experience shall be relaxable by one year for ITI (NTC) holders in the trade of Sheet Metal Worker/ Fitter Pipe (Plumber) /Fitter. Desirable:- Good communication skills and working knowledge in Hindi/Marathi. |

Cochin Shipyard Recruitment Age Limit 2024
- The upper age limit prescribed for the posts shall be 30 years as on 13 September 2024, i.e. applicants should be born or after 14 September 1994.
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 3 years for OBC (Non Creamy Layer) candidates and 5 years for SC/ST candidates in posts reserved for them.
- Age relaxation for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) and Ex-servicemen shall be as per Government of India Guidelines. However, in no case, age limit after applying all age relaxations shall exceed 45 years.
Cochin Shipyard Limited Selection Process 2024
- The method of selection shall include Phase I and Phase II, as detailed under:-

- The Objective test shall be of 35 minutes’ duration comprising of 30 Multiple Choice Questions and consists of two parts – General (Part A – 10 marks) and Trade related (Part B – 20 marks). Each question carries one mark. There shall be no negative marks.
- Mark lists for each post shall be prepared on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the Phase -I Objective test for Outfit assistant post and Phase – I Practical Test for Mooring & Scaffolding post. Candidates who score minimum pass marks and above in the Phase I shall be short listed for certificate verification.
CSL Recruitment Application Fee 2024
- Application fee for the post of Outfit assistants and for Mooring & Scaffolding is Rs 300/- (Non – refundable, plus bank charges extra) should be remitted using the Online payment options (Debit card/Credit card/Internet Banking/Wallets/ UPI etc.) which can be accessed through our Online application facility from 14 August 2024 to 13 September 2024.
- No other mode of payment shall be accepted.
- Applicants belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) / Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) need not pay application fee. They are exempted from payment of application fee.
