ONGC Petro additions Limited (OPaL) is one of the largest integrated Petrochemical Complexes in south Asia, located in the port town of Dahej, Gujarat. The complex is equipped with world class technology with any annual capacity of 2.0 million tons of wide portfolio of petrochemicals viz, HDPE, LLDPE, PP, Benzene, Butadiene, Pyrolysis Gasoline, CBFS etc.
Rules & Regulations:
| The engagement conditions of the apprentices so selected would be governed by The Apprentice Act 1961 as amended from time to time. |
| The Company shall have no obligation to offer regular employment to Apprentices. This Apprenticeship shall not incur any liability on OPaL for providing any job to the Apprentice. |

Documents required at the time of joining:
- D.O.B document – 10th Standard certificate or Birth Certificate issued by the Municipality or such appropriate authority.
- Copy of Consolidated Mark sheet/ last mark sheet of essential qualification obtained. If the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) assigns grades, conversion certificate if any, from respective Industrial Training Institute(ITI) for calculating percentage of marks.
- Copy of latest updated resume
- Upon selection for apprenticeship in OPaL, registration on national apprenticeship website (https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) is mandatory. Joining in OPaL is subject to production of the apprenticeship registration number generated from apprenticeship website.

Selection Methodology:
- The Applicants meeting the above mentioned criteria shall be required to undergo written test. The selection will be based on the performance in written test and personal interview.
- Candidates will be offered the apprenticeship in order of merit.
- 20% of the seat of the total requirements to be kept reserved for applicants from Ambetha and Suva villages of Vagra Taluka who are meeting the published criteria. In case of receiving more applications from these villages, their selection will be based on merit as defined above and seat allocated for these villages shall not be increased. In other scenario of non-receiving sufficient applications from these villages, the vacant reserved seat shall be allotted to applicants (other than Ambetha/Suva) in the order of merit as defined above.
- Medical Certificate of fitness for Apprenticeship Training in OPaL, in original, shall be required to be submitted at the time of joining the Apprenticeship Training from a Registered Medical Officer/ Practitioner giving complete name, address and registration number of the medical authority.
General Instructions
| 1. | The candidate must have an active email ID and Mobile Number. |
| 2. | Please note that the candidate, who is selected as an Apprentice Trainee in OPaL, is required to possess an Aadhaar linked Bank Account in his own name (preferably a nationalised bank with internet banking/ electronic banking facilities) and PAN card to receive stipend from OPaL. |
| 3. | The candidate must ascertain the correctness of all information before filling in the Application Form and its final submission. The candidate shall be wholly/exclusively responsible for the information provided in his/her application form. |
| 4. | It may be noted that in the event it is found that information given by the candidate is false, the candidature for apprentice will be summarily rejected. |
| 5. | The Candidature of the applicant would be provisional and subject to subsequent verification of certificate. In case it is detected at any stage of engagement or thereafter, that a candidate does not fulfil the eligibility norms and/ or that he has furnished any incorrect/doctored/false information/certificate/documents or has suppressed any material fact(s), his candidature will stand cancelled. If any of these shortcomings is/are detected even after engagement, his engagement is liable to be terminated. |
| 5. | Engagement of selected candidates is subject to he being declared medically fit as per the requirement of the Apprentices Act, 1961. All such engagement will also be subject to all relevant rules/policies/guideline of the company . |
| 7. | The decision of Management will be final and binding on all candidates on all matters relating to eligibility, acceptance or rejection of the applications, mode of selection, cancellation of the selection process either in part or full, etc. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard. |
